The creep that did it had ripped my stereo out, but failed to get it out without busting it anyway. It was an old Ventura, and I found a salavage yard that let me have the glass for $25. The glass company offered to install it for $50. Okay, not serious money these days I guess, but it still kind of irked me 16 years ago. I took the glass back home and decided to install it myself, never having done that before. It was freezing and snowy outside, but it took me only 5 minutes to remove the car door entirely. With my passenger door and glass by my nice cozy fire it took me about fifteen minutes to install the new glass :D The moral of the story is, glass installers are apparently worth $200 an hour, or possibly more, seeing as how I could have done it faster next time.
